Writing an essay can be hard or straightforward, depending on how you go about it. This is the central part of the essay. It states your argument, which sides you are taking, your evidence and opinion. 5. Writing the introduction
The purpose of the opening is to draw the reader’s attention. It also shows what your essay will focus on. Some of the best statements to use as introduction include shocking pieces of information, questions, statistics, stories, dialogues or even a simple summary of what you will be expounding in the body. Whichever you decide to begin with, ensure that it is relevant to the topic as well as the thesis statement.
6. The conclusion
After arguing out your ideas to your satisfaction, conclude your essay by summing up all your thoughts and ideas. You can also give your opinion. Basically, a conclusion summarizes your main ideas which reinforce the thesis statement.
7. Polishing up the essay
Before submitting your piece, make sure that you go through it at least twice to correct any errors that may have escaped your attention as you typed. These could be grammar, vocabulary and spelling errors or even a problem with the order of your paragraph. The strongest points should come first then the others. Also, go through the instructions issued for the essay to make sure that you conformed with all of them. Once done, you are good to go!
