ship to ensure that their voice always gets brought back to the shared vision.
3. Find out Each Person’s Passion Buttons
Everyone has certain passions that get them excited that motivate them to want to work harder and longer.
A great leader will pinpoint what those are for each person that they lead and try to correlate the person’s daily work to the passions that they hold. By tapping into intrinsic motivators, it will only help engage the employees on a deeper level.
This process can take time, so make sure that you are listening and allowing your staff to share with you what their passions are and how they can use them.
4. Share Why You Are Engaged
If you share why you are engaged in your work, why you have a high level of passion and motivation, then it will help invigorate those that work for you as well.
People are great skeptics, and if you try to fake passion and motivation often, they will see right through it. But once you authentically open the doors to why you are engaged in what you do, engaging employee is an easy transition.
