I'm not surprised by the Crowdfunding increases because that's one of biggest problems people have when starting up.
I always encourage my clients who are stuck for funds to try crowd funding. To get inspired I recommend Googling "crowd funding success stories". Many companies have received millions when only needing thousands, plus it's a great confidence boost knowing so many people back you up on your idea too!
