  • Great analogy comparing working with a tax specialist to taking your car to a mechanic. A small business owner needs to spend time where their skills lie and on what brings in customers and money.

  • For managing all the things of a company related with money, there should be an accountant. A director can not manage all the financial and monetary issues. You have to need an accountant even if you run a small business.

  • I totally agree with this. It is so important that business owners hire folks that are very well adverse in taxation. With some form of certification, whether they are a CPA or a Enrolled Agent or even the new RRTP Certification that the IRS now requires for all tax prepares. They save you time and money are able able to represent you up to a certain way. Plus I agree with the idea of putting money away for away as a Self Employed person, because a lot of folks think that they need to spend all the money because they do not keep track of their own expenses in their business.
